As the festive season draws near, Singapore’s Orchard Road adorns itself with dazzling lights and decorations ready to celebrate Christmas in style. Adding sparkle to the holiday season, Swarovski joins in the celebrations this year with Swarovski’s first ever outdoor christmas tree in Singapore.
Standing tall outside ION Orchard, the walk-in Christmas tree is a picture of majestic grandeur glittering with 80 crystal strands, each measuring an impressive 20 meters and featuring more than 28,000 stunning clear crystals. Inspired by Swarovski’s Christmas Ornament Annual Edition 2015, over 200 mirrored snowflake ornaments adorn the tree.
A special Duo Snowflake tree topper sits atop the 20-meter tree, adding a spectacular sparkle to the festive light up. Inspired by Swarovski’s collection designed with Miranda Kerr for the festive season, the Duo Snowflake is the symbol of a fun and joyful spirit and a meaningful reminder to ignite one’s spirit and be active – ideals that Miranda Kerr holds very close to heart.
Two arched entrances welcome visitors to step inside the tree and be captivated by facets of mirrors lining the ceiling, transforming the space into a dazzling infinity room. Shimmering fairy lights glisten like stars while a giant chandelier rotates with crystals suspend from above, creating a starry-eyed experience for all who enter the Swarovski Christmas tree.
In celebration of the holiday season, Swarovski will donate 10% of sales proceeds from the Christmas Star Ornament Annual Edition 2015, Christmas Ball Ornament Annual Edition 2015, Christmas Bell Ornament and the Little Star Ornament to Community Chest during the months of November and December.
Swarovski will also be spreading the Christmas cheer to consumers with an exciting line-up of promotions:
- The first 50 visitors to present their photos of the Swarovski Christmas tree using the hashtag #SwarovskiSG will receive a sparkling gift from the ION Orchard boutique.
- From 30th October to 25th December, customers will receive a crystallized candle when they spend $350, and a limited edition champagne cooler for purchases $600 or more at all Swarovski boutiques.
Swarovski will also run contests from mid November on their Facebook page for consumers to stand a chance to win prizes including Christmas ornaments and jewellery sets from the collection designed with Miranda Kerr for the holiday season.
