Harajuku Street Style was a public event at TANGS Orchard which attracted many Japanese street style fans who adorned their best Japanese inspired outfits to attend the event. This event attracted many fashion photographers likely who want to capture Japanese street style models and guests alike.
Rei Shito from Stylefromtokyo and James Bent from La Mode Outre gave talks about fashion photography.
Elim Chew founder of 77th Street said the company will bring in the edgiest of Japanese street fashion to the region with the collaboration of AWCG (the company that represents Harajuku fashion brands). Harajuku brands like Urban Research and Beauty & Youth United Arrows will debut in Singapore.
I believe that with the infusion of Japanese street style culture in Singapore, our society will become more fashion conscious. This would also help to widen the variety of style choices for the average Singaporean.
