H&M Singapore! AW2011

The fashion world in Singapore awaits with great anticipation for the Swedish house of fast fashion H&M  (Hennes & Mauritz) to arrive!

H&M does many collaborations with famous brands such as Japanese label Comme Des Garcons, famous British based shoe designer Jimmy Choo, and most recently French high fashion brand Lanvin which featured amazing edgy coveted designs for H&M.

The H&M Singapore store is opening early September 2011 .

It will be a 30,000 sq ft store, occupying three levels. The first two floors will stock ladies wear, and the 3rd floor will stock men’s and children’s wear. I cannot wait to explore the huge store at the Orchard building (opposite Orchard Cineleisure and Mandarin Gallery) !

Here are the Autumn Winter collections:

Women AW2011

Splendid pleats and drapery for women’s outer wear and dresses which accentuates a women’s silhouette with a body hugging cut to protect one from the cold. The bold use of cheerful orange and red colour hues and patterns, indicates that H&M is challenging the conformity of normal autumn winter blacks and greys.

The evening clutch bag looks stunning!

Men AW2011

Men’s jackets are charmingly well cut and dapper for a person to look his best in an occasion. Checks in green and block colours of navy blue and grey look to be timeless with a modern cut for the new age sophisticated man.

Carrot cut khaki coloured rolled up pants are in the rage at H&M, following the current trend of the men’s industry for a laid back smart casual vibe.

Love the draped grey cardigan! (above picture)
