MCQ has been a subsidiary line of the main high fashion Alexander McQueen label of Haute Couture, which I simply adore.
The clothes are high street fashion with a McQueen twist, much emphasis is on body contour which makes the clothes fit the person snugly, resulting in a flattering figure for the wearer. I ponder how the next in line creative designer of MCQ would be able to fill the huge shoes left by the late Alexander McQueen being one of the most famous and respected designer, who is awe inspiring in the fashion world.
It is of high importance that his clothes are mostly stamped Made In Italy to ensure high quality control.
Here are some photos I found from the MCQ SS2010 fashion book which I would like to share.
The Men’s range.
Very wearable fashion! I love the jeans with the washed darker tone colours at the bottom.
The top collarless printed shirt with graphics is apparently very in trend now, with Comme Des Garcons Black label featuring black flower prints on their tee shirts.
The leopard print shoes kick ass too!
What a trendy well tailored blazer for a chic dapper look! With contrasting colour trimmings and sleeves!
I would wear it to fashion events anytime!
Love the metal cap shoes as well, very unique!
Love the yellow check shirt prints!
The grey jacket is so detailed! I want it for a biker chic look! The elbow parts are intricately sewn in a diamond V shape detail.
The pants flatter the model’s slim legs!
The shawl draped shirt looks unique but still wearable, the sleeves seem to be made of Sheer material.
Apparently goes well paired with tailored shorts which is in season for summer now.
The Women’s range
Biker chic! The leather jacket looks similar to Lady Gaga’s telephone music video! Paired with a loud printed dress, it has much va va voom appeal, Fierce! The combination of masculine and softer feminine styles are in trend to blend a new fresh look.
A military chic jacket with “brooches” or metal military stars. Form fitting jacket, finished with a soft satin pleated skirt.
Love the whole Japanese kimono vibe this navy blue jacket-skirt combination gives.
Looks like a look for Lady Gaga and Poker Polka face! A youthful Polka dot grey shirt! Paired with white dirty jeans to show off your long legs!
Another structured zip jacket suit combination in black/white check!
Looks to give women the killer 007 power in power suit!
An interesting draped top made of the same material paired with a multi layer skirt for a posh polished evening dress up.
